Ahoy there, crew! Ready the sails and chart yer course for All At Sea Saturday—one of the biggest days of the Maritime Festival 2025!

Join us on Saturday 5 July from 9:30am – 3:30pm at the Albany Boatshed for a day packed with hands-on fun, entertainment, and discovery to keep the whole crew entertained.

This year’s treasure chest of activities includes:

  • St Ayles Skiffs – Explore the Boatshed workshop and see how these beautiful wooden rowing boats were built, then head to the harbour to meet the crew and try one out

  • Filleting demonstrations for those keen to sharpen their sea skills

  • Art workshops to unleash yer inner maritime artist

  • An Ocean Discovery Display full of marine wonders

  • Leeuwin Ocean Adventure Foundation display—imagine life aboard a tall ship

  • Knot tying workshops to test yer rope skills

  • A visit from a real mermaid

  • Hair braiding and face painting for the perfect festival look

  • Live entertainment to get yer boots tappin’

  • Made to be Messy – creative chaos for the littlest pirates

  • Learn about seawater desalination, and discuss future water source planning for Albany with the Water Corporation team

  • Food and coffee vendors to keep yer bellies full

 

Gather your crew, hoist the sails, and head to the Boatshed for a day of seafaring fun and adventure!

 

All At Sea Saturday is part of the City of Albany’s Maritime Festival 2025, proudly supported by the State Government through Tourism Western Australia.

The Maritime Festival is presented by the City of Albany, Tourism WA and the Albany International Folk 'N' Shanty Festival.
