The Maritime Festival 2022 will kick off with a fun filled family day down at the waterfront between the Boat Shed and the Albany Entertainment Centre.


There will be fabulous array of activities including the annual Build a Boat Competition and Regatta, water based Come and Try events such as Surf Boating, Dragon Boating, Sailing, Wooden Boat displays to enjoy, a Whaling Boat to explore, cooking demonstrations, food vans and entertainment all day.

The City of Albany are calling for commercial operators, community groups, food vendors and local talent, to register their interest in participating in the 2022 Maritime Festival by completing an Expression of Interest form.

The Maritime Festival is a month long festival exploring Albany's long standing nautical history held at various venues around Albany each July.

Local organisations, businesses and individuals have the opportunity to be involved. The City is particularly keen to hear from food and drink vendors, entertainers, and businesses with maritime related products (e.g. boating and fishing suppliers, water adventure sports, etc.) that would like to be part of All at Sea Saturday at the Boat Shed on 2 July 2022.

All at Sea Saturday is a fun filled family day held at the waterfront in and around the Boat Shed. There will a fabulous array of activities including the annual Build a Boat Completition and Regatta, water based Come and Try events and a whaling boat to explire.

With thousands of people expected throughout the day, there are plenty of opportunities for food and drink vendors to keep everyone fed and watered, and entertainers to keep everyone entertained.
