The 2025 event will feature an elevated stage program that is the embodiment of ‘community’
and the City’s bicentenary vision, to showcase Albany by reflecting honestly on our past,
celebrating our community of today and creating a future where anything is possible.
Breaksea, a renowned West Australian based multi-arts organisation, will deliver a curated 60-minute concert exploring Menang Noongar storytelling and an impressive showcase of Albany which includes a 75-voice community choir and bespoke musical compositions from artists such as
Jarrad Inman, Kayps, Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse, alongside another WA local talent, Flood
the Moon.
We will do our utmost to make sure the event can proceed, with the safety of our participants and attendees coming first.
This is a FREE event.
Yes, given that your dog is on the lead and with you at all times.
This is a strictly non-smoking, drug free event. Alcohol is not permitted anywhere on the event
site.
Please note it is an offence in Western Australia for persons of any age to drink alcohol in public such as on the street, park or beach.
The penalty can be a $200 infringement or a maximum $2000 fine. Police will be present at this event.
Portaloo Toilets are located on the event site. An accessible toilet will be provided for patrons.
Electronic payment options may be available with certain food vendors. There is no ATM available
on site.
First aid will be available at the St Johns Ambulance van located onsite. There will also be First Aid trained staff carrying first aid kits at the event.
Please report to the Events Staff at the City marquee.
ACROD parking is located at the Albany Entertainment Centre. An accessible toilet is located at the event site.
Parking is available at the Albany Entertainment Centre and CBD.
We will have a range of high-quality food/beverage vendors catering to all dietary requirements at the event.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic with them to the event.
