Parking Options
• ACROD Parking: Available for people who hold a valid ACROD pass. Additional ACROD parking will be made available in the bottom carpark at the Library and Visitor Centre.
For logistical and safety reasons the ONLY vehicles allowed inside the road closure zones are float / stallholder vehicles. ALL festival attendees and pageant participants (not including float drivers) must park outside the road closure zone. It is recommended pageant participants park in the Old Auction Room Carpark off Peels Place behind Centrelink.
We recommend following alternative routes, planning ahead, and allowing extra time for parking. Signage and traffic management will guide you to the event.

We will do our utmost to make sure the event can proceed, with the safety of our participants and attendees coming first.
• Indoor viewing: Spaces will be available at this year’s pageant and will be located in the upstairs area of the Albany Public Library.
This area is for community members who use a mobility assistance device or are unable to stand for a long period of time.

• Accessible Toilets: Located next to the library’s viewing area and on the ground floor of the building. Additionally, you can find accessible toilets across the Town Square, behind the Town Hall/Chorus Building.
• ACROD Parking: Available for people who hold a valid ACROD pass. Additional ACROD parking will be made available in the bottom carpark at the Library and Visitor Centre. Take a moment to watch this informative video, designed to help prepare for and enjoy every moment of this event.
This is a FREE event. Fees apply with face painting, hair braiding and henna tattoos.
Public Toilets are located in Town Square & Library Car Park.
Yes, given that your dog is on the lead and with you at all times.
No, this is a smoke free event.
Electronic payment options may be available with certain market vendors and food stalls.
First aid will be available at the St Johns Ambulance van located in the Library carpark. There will also be First Aid trained staff carrying first aid kits at the event.
Please report to the Events Staff at the City marquee in Alison Hartman Gardens.
We will have a range of high-quality food/beverage vendors catering at the event.
Attendees are welcome to bring their own food to the event.
The Christmas Festival & Pageant is an alcohol-free event.
Please note It is an offence in Western Australia for persons of any age to drink alcohol in public such as on the street, park or beach. The penalty can be a $200 infringement or maximum $2000 fine.
