How long does the Christmas Lights Trail run for?
The City of Albany’s Christmas Lights Trail runs from 27 November 2021 until early January 2022.
A final closing date will be announced on the City of Albany’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
What time are the lights going to be activated?
The light installations will be sparkling and ready to view every evening from sundown until 12am.
How many lights are there?
There are nine light installations throughout the Albany CBD.
Where can I find them?
The light installations are spread across the Albany CBD, ranging from the top of York Street, all the way down to Anzac Peace Park.
What do they look like?
Each of the light installations are a unique design, from festive creature to sparkling presents.
How can I enter the competition?
For the chance to win one of three Christmas shopping vouchers to help you Support Local these holidays, simply take a photo of yourself with any of the light installations and post it to Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #albanychristmaslightstrail.
Each winner will then be announced via the City of Albany’s social media. Make sure your social media accounts are set to public so that you can be included in the competition!

Does it cost anything?
The City of Albany’s Christmas Lights Trail is completely free to attend.
Where can I park?
Public parking is available along York Street, with ACROD bays easily identified with signage and bay markings. For more information, click here.

Definitely! Just ensure your furry friend is on a lead and under control at all times.
