GREAT SOUTHERN STREET MACHINE
The Great Southern Street Machine Association Inc is a not-for-profit motor sporting club for anyone with a passion for all things automotive. The club was founded over 40 years ago and has been active within the community since inception.

COMMUNITY LIVING ASSOCIATION
Community Living Association (CLA) has been supporting the Great Southern disability community for over 30 years. This Christmas, CLA would love to provide the individuals we support with the opportunity to decorate our vehicle and share the joy of the season with their local community.

Local Scout Group, have a love of outdoors activities, camping, adventures and helping kids learn life skills

THE VILLIAGE CHILDCARE SERVICES
The Village Child Care Services is delighted to participate in the 2025 City of Albany Christmas Pageant in collaboration with Anglicare. This year, our float will feature children from our service, beautifully dressed and dancing/singing to celebrate the joy and spirit of the festive season.

CYCLING WITHOUT AGE
Cycling Without Age volunteer cyclists give bike free rides to elderly people or those unable to ride for themselves on specially made trishaws. The joy of the wind in your hair!

ALBANY PRIMARY SCHOOL ACTIVE TRANSPORT GROUP
Albany Primary School encourages active transport through walking, riding, and other physical activity. A highlight on the school’s calendar in the lead up to Christmas is the annual Christmas Bike Parade, which encourages students to decorate their bikes and ride to school.

At Mount Lockyer, we are incredibly proud of our students and all they have achieved in 2025. In the classroom, our students have shown curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. They’ve worked hard across all areas of the curriculum, and their efforts have been reflected in strong academic results and a growing confidence as learners.

Soapbox racing is no ordinary pastime. It’s a non-motorized sport that brings together creativity, courage, and good old-fashioned competition. Open to boys and girls aged 6 to 17, it’s a chance to build, race, and dream—with nothing but gravity on your side.

GIRL GUIDES ALBANY
Girl Guides brings out the best in girls! Girl Guides meet weekly for girls aged 5 to 17 years and offer a range of activities to girls that encourage adventure, friendship and Fun. We camp, we make craft, we give service to the community, and we get outside!

SOUTHERN EDGE ARTS
Southern Edge Arts is a charity that delivers circus and theatre workshops across the Great Southern.
This year's entry in the Pageant is inspired by the classic children's tale The Nutcracker. See characters like The Rat King and The Nutcracker in a battle and the heroic courage of Clara. Characters from the Land of Snow and the Land of Sweets will also fill the street with colour.

Promotional Ponies provide well educated pat Ponies for therapy/wellness programs, educational programs and assorted events. Promotional Ponies will leave a smile on everyone's dial regardless of age from 1 to 101 they love interacting with everyone and are fully inclusive. Promotional Ponies supporting learning one hoof at a time.

The Lower King Community Kindergarten creates a nurturing, engaging and safe environment that provides learning through play and nature, while incorporating the children’s needs and interests. At Lower King Community Kindergarten, families and the local community have a great sense of belonging.

Working directly in Albany schools, our YouthCARE chaplains offer guidance, encouragement, and a safe space for students to grow. Every child deserves the chance to succeed, and we're proud to walk alongside them on that journey.

TS VANCOUVER NAVY CADETS
TS Vancouver navy cadets are young individuals involved in youth development programs, provided by the Australian Navy Cadets (ANC), which is supported by the Royal Australian Navy. The ANC is open to young Australians aged 12 to 18 and aims to foster self-confidence and prepare cadets for future career. TS Vancouver meet every Friday night from 5.30pm to 9pm during the school term.

As home to the last operating whaling station in Australia, it offers visitors a rare opportunity to step inside an important piece of the nation’s history and discover the stories of the men, women, and whales that shaped Albany’s past. This festive season, the team is delighted to join the City of Albany Christmas Pageant, bringing a splash of seaside spirit and holiday cheer to the community celebration.

The Albany Light Opera and Theatre Company was established with the aim of providing an opportunity for those people who wish to display their performing talents and provide entertainment for the population of Albany and surrounding districts. We at ALOTCO continue to provide an artistic outlet for many fine and enthusiastic performers and musicians from the Albany district and several of our former members have gone on to careers in the arts in Australia and internationally.

King River Hall - the Pink Hall. We run art and photography exhibitions throughout the year plus Christmas markets. The hall is also for hire for parties, weddings, birthdays, dances, informational events and corporate events

705 SQUADRON AUSTRALIAN AIR FORCE CADETS
Australian Air Force Cadets is a premier youth development organisation. Cadets are involved in activities supporting RSL and community events while providing training to upskill young people to develop into leaders in their community.
Cadets engage in activities and training around Aviation, Field Skills, Air Force service knowledge, Drill and Ceremonial, Drum Corp, Remote Piloted Aircraft Systems (drones) and leadership.

CARE SHUTTLE GREAT SOUTHERN
The Careshuttle provides a free transport service for cancer patients to and from their cancer treatment appointments at Genesis Care and Cancer Services at Albany Health Campus. We serve the Albany area up to around 20km from Albany Health Campus. Patients from other areas in the Great Southern can also use the service while staying in Albany for treatment.

ALBANY STATE EMERGENCY SERVICES (SES)
The Albany SES is group of volunteers who serve our community. We attend search and rescue, storm damage, bushfire support, vertical rescue and community events. Training each week, our committed members are continually learning and preparing to respond to an emergency or natural hazard when needed.

ALBANY VIKINGS SPORTS CLUB
Albany Viking Sporting Club is a club for people over the age of 35. The Vikings promote health and wellbeing opportunities for those aged over 35 through sport and physical activity. The Albany Vikings will be celebrating their 40th year next year. The club welcomes everyone and encourages new members to join and see their Facebook page for more info

SOUTH COAST VOLUNTEER BUSHFIRE BRIGADE
south Coast volunteer bushfire brigade is one of many volunteer bushfire brigades in the City of Albany that provides bushfire preparations to make residents ready for if there is a fire emergency in their area and also assist the community when fires break out and they also offer their time to help the residents with hazard reduction burning.

Albany Speedway Club is a not-for-profit organisation. We pride ourselves on providing an excellent venue to attract many diverse race divisions and drivers. Our club brings many visitors to our city and all funds we raise are put back into facility improvements and members.

VETERANS ASSIST
Veterans Assist Great Southern is a not-for-profit Ex-Service Organisation (ESO) designed to support Veterans, their families and other NFP groups within Great Southern. Based at the Albany Club we provide social interaction amongst our members and their guests on a weekly basis and help other groups within the Great Southern area raise funds for their needs.

The Albany Surf Life Saving Club is at the heart of our coastal community, dedicated to keeping our beaches safe and fostering a love for the ocean. This festive season, the club thanks its dedicated volunteers, members, and supporters for another incredible year of service and achievement.

St John WA is a charitable organisation in WA that provides emergency services across the state. We have volunteers and paramedics represented from both the Albany and Mt Barker sub-center’s all doing amazing things from our communities.

ALBANY VOLUNTEER FIRE & RESCUE SERVICE (AVRS)
Albany Volunteer Fire & Rescue work closely with Albany Career Fire & Rescue attending structure fires, HAZMAT incidents, Road crash rescue incidents, medical assistance calls, bushfires, direct brigade alarm systems and many other incidents over the great southern area. we have approximately 43 volunteers who make up our brigade and are on call 24/7.

Together, they bring the magic of Christmas to life, spreading joy and festive spirit throughout the community. It’s a wonderful sight, showcasing the team’s dedication and the holiday cheer they share with all of us!

And here they are – the main man himself, Santa Claus, alongside the ever-jolly Mrs. Claus! With holiday cheer and festive spirit, they spread joy and excitement for all to see. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, thanks to Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their hardworking team of elves!
