Hop on board and find out what life is like for a sailor on the HMAS Anzac!
This vessel is the lead ship of the Anzac-class frigates of the Royal Australian Navy.
Explore its armaments during this once in a lifetime Open Day and learn more about the ships vital role in Australia’s defence forces.
Visitors will have the opportunity to speak with crew about day-to-day life in the Royal Australian Navy and even take part in some unique naval experiences!
A free, ticketed shuttlebus will be running from the Albany Boatshed.

PLEASE NOTE:
The HMAS Anzac Open Day is only accessible via the shuttlebus departing from the Albany Boatshed.
Visitors will be required to climb up and down ladders, and over hatch combings approximately 30cm high as part of the Open Day.
There is no access to the ship for prams or wheelchairs, and it is not suitable for guests requiring mobility aides including canes or walkers.
Children are welcome on board, but must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times, with a maximum of two children per adult for children under 6 years old.
The Maritime Festival is presented by the City of Albany.
