As the days shorten and the cold weather creeps in, venues across Albany will heat up with a wide variety of arts, culture and children’s events.


Dive into a month-long celebration of the Port City’s cultural and maritime history. 

 

Featuring an exciting lineup of events, from live music to art exhibitions, film screenings, markets, wine tastings, sailing opportunities, author talks, and activities for children like hunting for treasure – the Maritime Festival promises something for everyone.

From fireside folk sessions and concerts, to full blown pub shanty singing, tales of pirates, whales and shipwrecks; the Folk 'n' Shanty Festival turns hustoric Albany into a playground of maritime culture!
