NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each July to acknowledge history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by all Australians from all walks of life.

Be immersed in the world’s oldest living culture with an authentic, personal experience of Noongar Menang people.

This hub incorporates NAIDOC week with cultural experiences and knowledge sharing by local Noongar people who have a strong connection to Country; recognising Menang Noongar culture as central to the region's identity.

Each cultural experience is run by local Noongar people who have a strong family connection to country and a deep understanding of their culture and knowledge of the land.

This five day program is a great opportunity to participate in a range of activities, experiences and to support our local Menang people.

The following events can all be found at the Albany Boatshed.
