Albany’s Princess Royal Fortress overlooks the harbour from which much of the city’s unique maritime history was made.

Come and visit from where many of Australia’s servicemen and servicewomen left for war, and those who sought a safe harbour whilst in Australian waters.

Learn more about our naval history with the Guardians of Sunda Strait exhibition and explore the Royal Australian Navy collection on one of our daily naval tours. Also on display will be a selection of model ships of the Second World War built by Gerry Westenberg.
