School Holiday Programs

The City of Albany’s Community Development team offers a fun-filled and engaging School Holiday Program designed to give Albany's youth an exciting way to spend their break. This program includes a wide variety of activities tailored for youth aged from 10-25 years, from creative arts and crafts workshops to outdoor adventures, sports clinics, and interactive sessions that spark curiosity and learning.

Each holiday period, the program is updated with fresh activities to keep young participants engaged, fostering new skills, friendships, and memorable experiences. The program also partners with local organisations and facilitators, ensuring a diverse lineup and promoting community connections.

These activities are working towards realising the priority areas of the Youth Friendly Albany plan. The priority areas include community connection and wellbeing, safe spaces and places, and planning for the future. We strive to make all events inclusive and accessible to all.

Want to find out what’s on? If we have any current listings for the upcoming school holidays, you can find them here:

For more information, contact Dylan Moir on 6820 3130 or email commdevel@albany.wa.gov.au

All events are run by the City of Albany and proudly supported by Rio Tinto.

Please note that this page focuses on programs organised specifically by the Community Development team. Other departments, like Albany Public Library, Albany Leisure & Aquatic Centre, and our Art & Culture Team, also host school holiday activities, especially for younger school-aged children, but those are promoted separately.
