Step into the festive season with Albany’s first-ever ice rink, a magical new addition to this year’s Christmas celebrations! Kicking off at the Christmas Festival & Pageant on Saturday, 7 December, the rink will bring a winter wonderland to the heart of the CBD until Thursday, 12 December.

The artificial ice rink can accommodate up to 25 skaters at a time, with sessions recommended for ages 5-16 years. Parents are welcome to support younger skaters on the synthetic ice.

Here’s what you can expect:

Saturday, 7 December: Ice rink open from 3pm to 8pm with 15-minute sessions.

8-12 December: Skating sessions continue from 10am to 5pm daily, with 30-minute slots.

Sizes for skates start at 28 and go up to 46.
