The Late Night Organ Donors

For all your monster grooves and soul vibes, please tick here! Forged from the sounds of New Orleans greats (The Meters, Dr John, Stanton Moore, Robert Walter et al), the Late Night Organ Donors bring all-original tracks to warm your heart and get your body sweaty. An all-star line-up of some of Perth's hottest players channel collective creative spirit into tight ensemble playing with virtuosic improvisations.

The Chairman of the Fret Board

Musically speaking, these 3 have been members of the fretboard for many years. Andrew Winton is a seasoned blues, roots touring artist; Dave Brewer is a National treasure of Australian blues and Trevor Jalla is the musician’s musician, playing many styles in multiple line ups. Join them for their first AGM together for blues inspired, feel-good music and some musical chair surprises.

Martin Lee Cropper

Tucked away in a cabin on a windswept hilltop just south of Bridgetown, Martin Lee Cropper has spent 25 years honing his skills, learning to play like a 1920s man, studying the guitar styles of the East Coast Piedmont, Texas, Mississippi Delta & Hill Country Blues masters of the 1920s & 30s and living a simple rural life. Now fluent in these regional blues guitar styles, he has forged a new body of authentic but original Delta Blues.

Boox Kid

Fremantle singer songwriter, and producer, Jarred Wall is a proud Noongar man delivering unique electro-pop. A BIGSOUND 50 artist in 2020, Boox Kid is a cross-genre performer, starring as Wardong in WA Opera’s Koolbardi Wer Wardong (2021/22), written by Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse and sung entirely in Noongar language. 2023 is set to be a big year for Boox Kid with some major collaborations coming soon, followed by Boox Kid’s debut EP.

Drea

Drea is a talented singer from Perth who captivates audiences through her vulnerable ballads and confident party anthems. A highly sought-after feature vocalist, Drea recently opened for New Zealand band SIX60 and performed at Perth Bluesfest. She is heavily influenced by gospel, hip-hop, and R&B, blending the styles to create her own unique flavour. Joined by some of the best live musicians in WA, Drea knows how to work a crowd and create an atmosphere that is uniquely hers.

Stacey Ann

Acclaimed for her compelling and captivating vocals, singer-songwriter Stacey Ann will have your heart hanging from a thread with her honey-like harmonies, unforgettable melodies, and beautiful arrangements featuring drums, bass, piano, and guitar. This female-fronted 5-piece, inspired by the likes of Florence and the Machine, Meg Mac, Gretta Ray, and Fleetwood Mac, has become an indie-folk-pop sound filled with warmth, compassion, and sincerity.

The Steve Hensby Band

The Steve Hensby Band is splitting at the seams with an assault to the musical senses with elements of funk, soul, ska, world, a sprinkle of psychedelia, and a dash of folk. The 9-piece ensemble is a regular on the WA festival circuit and features a healthy-sized horn section. Full of joy, highly danceable, and exuding massive on-stage energy, they are simply a must-see!

The Maritime Festival is presented by the City of Albany and is supported by the State Government through Tourism Western Australia and Royalties for Regions.
