Live @ the Town Hall returns in March with the second show of the 2026 series, bringing another huge night of original Australian music to the Albany Town Hall.
Supported through Revive Live, the 2026 program continues to build momentum with standout touring artists alongside exciting emerging talent from WA and beyond.
THE MARCH 2026 LINEUP...
March’s show is headlined by DICE (Perth) and Letters to Lions (Sydney), two of Australia’s best indie rock acts, both known for their high-energy live shows, big hooks and emotionally charged songwriting. It’s a massive co-headline that promises a packed room and an unforgettable night.
They’ll be joined by a strong lineup of support acts, including Boorloo’s expansive, cinematic indie outfit Gap Year, the fast, loud and joy-fuelled punk chaos of Lauren and the Goodfights, and Great Southern–raised, Melbourne-based folk-rock collective Alison Parade, plus sets from West Cape Records DJs before, between and after the bands.
Together, the lineup showcases the depth and diversity of contemporary Australian music — from soaring indie anthems to raw punk energy and richly textured songwriting — all on the iconic Albany Town Hall stage.

There are those rare bands that, once you step into their sonic world, captivate you entirely. Australia’s breakout band DICE is one of those bands. Comprising Ben Hodge, Tom King, Regan Beazley, and Sam Barrett-Lennard, DICE invited listeners into their vibrant universe in 2024 with their ARIA-charting debut album Midnight Zoo — a world of late-night sessions, emotional depth, and sharp indie rock songwriting.
Following the critical acclaim of their early releases and a rapid rise with sold-out national tours, international radio play, and a coveted spot on triple j’s Hottest 100, Midnight Zoo showcased a more multifaceted sound while capturing a whirlwind year of creativity, cementing DICE’s place as one of Australia’s most exciting indie rock exports.
2024 was another big year, with Quick To Judge debuting as the #1 added song on college radio in the USA and earning airplay across the UK and Europe. Their Quick To Judge Regional + Capital City Tour expanded due to demand, leading to sold-out shows nationwide before the band embarked on their debut Midnight Zoo World Tour, which included sold-out stops in New York, Toronto, London, Bristol, Denver, and more.
In 2025, DICE continued to build momentum with Chasing Hearts and Alter Ego, both receiving an overwhelming response from fans and enjoying multiple weeks of high rotation on triple j. Their newest single, Hourglass, offers a euphoric indie rock anthem about embracing the moment while you can, turning the pressures of adulthood into something bright and liberating.
Hourglass is the first single from DICE’s latest EP, Wings, released as the band headed out on their biggest North American tour yet. With a growing fan base in the UK, Germany, Canada, and the US, and a reputation for electrifying live shows, DICE continue to deliver electrifying indie rock moments that resonate deeply with listeners, and they’re just getting warmed up.

Letters to Lions are an indie-rock band from Sydney known for their raw energy, hooky guitars and sing-along choruses. After carving out a cult following on the local scene, they’ve returned with new music that’s connecting with fans around the world. Their songs feel both nostalgic and fresh, the kind that soundtrack late nights and long drives.

Gap Year formed in early 2019, with members having played together in various configurations around Perth WA. Built around two primary songwriters (taking shared lead vocal duties), the band offers an eclectic and transportive live set that puts an emphasis on extended song structure and thoughtful harmonic arrangements. Their sound sits somewhere between The War On Drugs, Real Estate, Gang Of Youths, and The National, blending driving guitars and lush textures with reflective, cinematic songwriting.

Lauren and the Goodfights is trans joy personified. Born in the sweaty corners of Perth’s DIY queer punk scene, this band thrives on fast songs, loud feelings, and doing whatever the hell they want. Punk energy with metal muscle, shout-along vox, and a sense of humour sharp enough to draw blood.
The band barrels through suburban dread, petty tyrants, standing up to violence and general everyday nonsense with songs that took half an hour to write and 1 minute to play. Lauren and the Goodfights do catharsis, community, and chaos. Shows are hilarious, unhinged, slightly feral and entirely joyful in the best way. If you like your music fast, loud, and a little bit stupid (complimentary), then smash the LGF mosh like it owes you money.

Alison Parade is a folk-rock collective that formed in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The band crossed the Nullarbor in 2024 and has since found their feet in Melbourne’s vibrant live music scene. Alison Parade’s thoughtful, steady songwriting, layered with folk- and psych-rock-inspired instrumentation, draws comparisons to the likes of Kurt Vile, Wilco, and Fleet Foxes, alongside hints of country-town Australiana, owing to their upbringing.

You guessed it… West Cape Records DJs are BACK! Again! This time Jeremy will be providing a selection of groovy tunes to get you in the mood for groovin’. And don’t forget the four rules of the dance-floor: dance like no-one’s watching, sing like no-one’s listening, love like you’ve never been hurt, and live like it’s heaven on Earth. This is West Cape Records.
