Live @ the Town Hall is the City of Albany’s premier live music series, celebrating emerging and established original music talent across diverse genres at the iconic Albany Town Hall.
Since launching in June 2022, the series has become a staple of Albany’s live music ecosystem, bringing together emerging local artists, nationally touring acts and exciting new talent from across Australia.
In 2025, we delivered three huge shows showcasing the depth of WA’s contemporary music scene, including sold-out nights featuring South Summit, smol fish, Ricky Neil Jr., Noah Dillon, Ullah, Great Gable, Fool Nelson, Ghost Care and more.
Thanks to support from Revive Live, the 2026 program has taken Live @ the Town Hall to another level, with five massive shows spanning indie, punk, hip-hop, pop and more.
We kicked off the year with Alter Boy, Georga Raath, Rosalie Chilvers, Parclo and Lima Brightlove, followed by DICE, Letters to Lions, Gap Year, Lauren and the Goodfights and Alison Parade. Our special all-ages edition kept the momentum going with Darcie Haven, Newport, Shorehaven, Navy June and local legends Freak Maestro.
The next edition, featuring Baker Boy, Miss Kaninna, INKABEE, JJ Vacant and Ricky Neil Jr. on Saturday 22 August, is now officially SOLD OUT!
Missed out? Don’t panic — we’re going out with a bang.
Live @ the Town Hall returns for its final show of 2026 on Saturday 24 October, headlined by punk-rock wrecking crew The Chats.
Known worldwide for raw, high-volume anthems including ‘Smoko’, ‘Pub Feed’ and ‘Identity Theft’, The Chats will bring their explosive live show to Albany for one huge night of fast, loud and gloriously unruly rock ’n’ roll.
They’ll be joined by Melbourne rock/grunge/punk duo Mannequin Death Squad, Great Southern genre-benders Grand Casual, Boorloo hardcore punk act Sooks and Albany’s own high-energy skate-punk legends PACKHOaRSE.
Revive Live funding has enabled us to significantly expand the 2026 program, bringing nationally and internationally recognised artists to Albany while continuing to support Great Southern and WA talent and strengthen regional touring pathways.
Tickets are on sale now for Live @ the Town Hall on Saturday 24 October.
Five bands. One more show for 2026. Absolutely no chance of going quietly.
