Capture your favourite moment at Live @ the Town Hall 2026 and share it for the chance to be exhibited at Vancouver Arts Centre and win!

 WHAT IS LENS@LIVE? 

​

Lens@Live is a photography competition running alongside the 2026 Live @ the Town Hall series.

 

It’s all about capturing the energy of live music at Albany Town Hall — from the stage to the crowd, and everything in between.

​

Selected entries will be exhibited at Vancouver Arts Centre in January 2027.​

​

FREE TO ENTER / OPEN TO ALL AGES / CAMERAS + SMARTPHONES WELCOME / ENTER ONE PHOTO PER EVENT / ENTRIES CLOSE 27 NOVEMBER 2026​​

 HOW IT WORKS ​​

1.  Go to a show  Attend any 2026 Live @ the Town Hall event​

2.  Take your shot  Capture a moment that reflects the energy, atmosphere or experience

3.  Submit your photo  Upload your best image using the form below​

4.  Exhibition + prize  Selected works will be exhibited, and one winner will receive a prize​

 PRIZE   Live @ the Town Hall 2027 GOLDEN TICKET 

A double pass to all eligible Albany Town Hall live music events in 2027 

(excludes private hire events and third-party ticketed performances)

  • 21 Feb / 21 Mar / 13 Jun / 22 Aug / 21 Nov 2026  Eligible Live @ the Town Hall events

  • 27 November 2026  Entries close

  • 3 December 2026  Selected entrants notified

  • 4 - 28 January 2027  Exhibition at Vancouver Arts Centre

  • 8 January 2027  Launch event / winner announced​​​​

 ENTRY REQUIREMENTS ​

  • Open to all ages

  • One photo per person, per event

  • Must be taken at a 2026 Live @ the Town Hall event

  • JPG or PNG format

  • Minimum 3000px on the longest side

  • Original images only - no AI-generated or AI-altered images​​​​

 BEFORE YOU SUBMIT ​

If your image includes a clearly recognisable audience member, make sure you have their permission before submitting (permission is not required for performers).

How did you hear about Lens@Live?

  • You can submit one photo per Live @ the Town Hall event

  • Your photo must be your own work, taken at a 2026 event

  • If your image includes recognisable audience members, you must have their permission

  • AI-generated or altered images are not accepted

  • By entering, you agree that the City of Albany may use your image for promotion, exhibition and marketing (with credit where possible)
